2. HULL
2.1. Hull.
2.1.1. Materials, predicted data and norms.
Hull and deck-house material is shipbuilding steel, which has the following mechanical characteristics:
elastic moment Å = 2,1õ105 MPa
yield point Ren= 235 MPa
Calculation of hull structures strength, estimation of design loads, choosing and employment of shell thicknesses, bulkheads, platings, framing members, frame-spacing sizes, meet the norms of the Marine Register of Shipping.
2.1.2. Watertight integrity
Hull structures watertight integrity meets the requirements of OST 5.1180, watertight integrity control meets the requirements of the Rules of the Russian Marine Register of Shipping.
2.1.3. Forms of connection
Hull structures elements and elements of deck-house, platings, framing, bulkheads, fangs, stiffeners etc. are to be connected by welding. Welded connections control meets the requirements of the Rules of the Russian Marine Register of Shipping.
2.2. Corrosion prevention
To prevent hull corrosion protection and lacquer-and-paint covering of INTERNATIONAL company or similar materials of other producers are provided.
3. SPECIAL PURPOSE EQUIPMENT
3.1. To perform work, predetermined by the vessel designation, the following equipment is installed:
- hydraulic single-arm davit,
- damper with 200m of booms,
- BUILTIN sweeping device (capacity abt, 2x30m3/h) complete with fender booms and control console.
All special devices are driven from hydraulic plant.
3.2. Single-arm davit
To perform loading/unloading operations, getting on and out of board recycling bins, PALFINGER hydraulic single-arm davit PK4100 is installed in control station near the recovered oil tank. Single-arm davit tank capacity is 0.42t with handling radius of 8.4m. Maximum load capacity is 0.9t.
3.3. Booms
The vessel has stiff booms LOB1200, designed for work in open seas no higher than 1m.
Booms LOB1200 are to be used in open aquatic areas, ports and also for permanent installation in harbours and oil terminals.
Booms are to be kept on the damper, which has a hydraulic drive, being able to house 200m of booms. It has rings in the corners for crane lifting and loops in the lower part for a forklift truck.
The damper with booms is placed on the stern above the engine room.
3.4. Sweeping device
Sweeping device is designed to collect all types of oil products, including emulsified and jellied ones, in all aquatic areas under the following conditions:
- air temperature -50C - + 500C
- water temperature 00C - +300C.
BUILTIN sweeping device is permanently fixed on the oil recovered tank side. Dirty water reaches sweeping device through ports in the side plate.
Fender booms, fixed on port closure, increase the width of the aquatic area clean stripe. Fender booms are separated on a necessary width (about 14-15 m) by lifting arms, located on the vessel sides over fenders. Lifting arms and fender booms are fixed in separated position by means of guys.
In the upper part of sweepers there is a special device that takes off the oil, gathered from the water surface, after which oil is delivered into the vessel oil recovery tank by the slope conveyor.
Sweeping device operation is provided by hydraulic energy from hydraulic plant with the main engines drive.
4. SHIP SYSTEMS
The vessel has the following systems:
4.1. Drying system.
4.2. Ventilation system
4.3. Water distribution systems
4.4. Deck drain system
4.5. System of oil bilge waters
4.6. Firefighting systems
4.7. Oil recovery system
4.8. Hydraulic system
4.9. Alarms of oil levels in tanks
4.10. Vessel systems pipelines material
4.11. Vessel tanks volume measurement
5. VESSEL POWER PLANT
