About Us

The year 1993 can be considered the starting date of shipbuilding in Naberezhnye Chelny, when the project of motor boat Kama-93 began. In 1994 an experimental prototype of the boat of this project was built and launched. Simultaneously building of the boat KM-93 ¹1, ¹2 began in the leased working area. In 1995 the first serial yacht KM-93 ¹1, built by Trans-Contact Holding Ltd itself, was launched. To increase production and number of the boats produced by 1999 a dockyard of the shipyard was built in the suburbs of Naberezhnye Chelny, in the village of Betky of Tukayevsky district, Tatarstan Republic.

 

In the past years a new cycle of shipbuilding small steel boats and yachts of different grades and lengths from 10 to 20m was developed. The projects of KM-100 DON, KM-120 AFTERCABIN, KM-120 TRAVELER, KM-120 VISHERA, KM-120 TOIMA, KM-132 BERSOUT, KM-155 INZER, small diving boat 214110 MALYSH were developed and went into series production. Altogether 81 boats have been built and delivered to customers by 2007.  180 specialists of different professions are involved in production. The construction bureau, using its own resources, developed the projects of KM-100 DON, KM-120 VISHERA, KM-120 TOIMA, KM-155 INZER.

 

TKT has participated in many specialized exhibitions, held in Russia, and is the only one Russian producer of motor yachts. The shipyard demonstrates its products on prestigious international exhibitions. Boat Show in Helsinki. Formerly no shipyard of the times of USSR, CIS and modern Russia had demonstrated and realized such products in the countries of far abroad. In its everyday shipbuilding activities TKT worked closely with its partners, like Quartet Ltd Saint-Petersburg, Unisel Ltd, Aqua Marin, Olymp Ltd Zvenigovo, and many other factories and specialists.
